I am a queer intersex woman originally from Canada. I’ve been living in Connecticut for the past 10 years and am happily married to my wife. We are working with a surrogate in the hopes of becoming parents soon! I am also a poet and performer who loves to sing and play ukulele, with a background in theatre. I teach and train other creative caring people as well.

I was inspired to do this work while getting my own tattoos, which remind me of home, of childhood joys, of my wedding day, but also of infertility and instability. My work has been informed by many of the deep conversations I’ve had with my own tattoo artists, and my own therapy, and I believe strongly in the intuitive relationship between embodiment, empowerment, and resilience.

My training and experiences have led me to examine the systemic oppression that dictates how identities and bodies are perceived, categorized, labeled, and forced into tiny boxes at the cost of our humanity and freedoms. My offering of support comes from a desire to celebrate personal and collective liberation and offer co-regulating, collaborative art-making, and meaning making processes as forms of care. I believe in radical self-love and acceptance.
